{"id":22256,"date":"2026-09-10T00:02:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T07:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/electrical-design-quality-engineer\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T02:02:13","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T00:02:13","slug":"sse-electrical-design-quality-engineer-aldershot-wielka-brytania","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/sse-electrical-design-quality-engineer-aldershot-wielka-brytania\/","title":{"rendered":"Electrical Design Quality Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality team.<\/p>\n<p>This is a varied role at the heart of the Commercial &amp; Connections business, where you&#8217;ll help drive continuous improvement, champion quality standards and support the delivery of efficient, compliant and customer-focused services.<\/p>\n<p>Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you&#8217;ll have the opportunity to influence business performance, collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and help shape a culture of quality and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Experience of Lean Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify potential quality, compliance and operational risks, escalating issues where appropriate and ensuring corrective actions are implemented within agreed timescales.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quality reviews of Engineering Connections quotations and designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of accuracy, consistency and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support the continual improvement of engineering processes by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency and customer outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quotations produced by the design team are accurate, compliant and fully aligned with relevant standards, policies and regulatory obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide assurance that quality management processes are consistently applied and contribute to maintaining a culture of continuous improvement across the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You will have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Engineering, or an HNC supported by significant industry knowledge and experience in quality management or business improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience of working with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of producing reports and analysing performance data, ideally within a regulated industry. Experience developing, collating and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) would be beneficial, but is not essential.<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills, including the ability to analyse performance information and deliver professional presentations to a range of audiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About SSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SSE\u2019s purpose is to provide energy needed today while building a better world of energy for tomorrow.
