We provide comprehensive services throughout the entire project lifecycle \u2013 from the initial concept through to commissioning and operation.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for Process &amp; Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our Hydraulic Engineering Team in Erfurt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your key responsibilities are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working on all project phases related to technical equipment systems, from concept development and detailed design through to commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and specifying mechanical, process engineering and electrical components, including pumps, blowers, compressors, heat exchangers, gas utilisation and sewage gas installations, valves, as well as instrumentation, control and automation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with clients, technical experts, specialist engineering consultancies and regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating closely with engineers, designers and project managers while supporting resource planning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting business development activities, proposal preparation and the development of technical concepts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We expect that you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of professional experience in the design, specification and execution of technical equipment projects, such as pumps, machinery, instrumentation and control systems, or process plants.<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of technical standards, guidelines and regulations related to technical equipment systems (e.g. DIN, DWA, VDI, VOB).<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of process-oriented plant operations, fluid mechanics, energy efficiency and operational safety.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and spoken English (minimum CEFR B2 level).<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, solution-oriented approach and a high level of personal responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We appreciate if you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in accordance with HOAI project phases.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with industrial or complex building services projects.<\/li>\n<li>Very good German language skills (approximately C1 level), both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of MagiCAD.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tendering processes, construction supervision, or commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in multidisciplinary and international project environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Company Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AFRY provides engineering, design, digital and advisory services to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable society.<\/p>\n<p>AFRY employs over 18,000 professionals in more than 50 countries.
