As Category Specialist \u2013 Construction Procurement, you will manage key construction categories across NKT\u2019s European sites, supporting projects with sourcing, supplier management, and contract processes. Do you want to be part of projects that shape future infrastructure?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plan and execute procurement strategies for construction projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will manage construction-related categories such as civil works, materials,\u00a0contractors,\u00a0and subcontracting. You will\u00a0build and develop your local supporting sourcing network,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>work closely with project managers,\u00a0engineers,\u00a0and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with timelines, budgets and requirements, ensuring quality and supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your responsibility will be to:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement category strategies for construction spend<\/li>\n<li>Conduct sourcing processes including RFI, RFP, and RFQ<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate supplier bids and negotiate contracts and commercial terms<\/li>\n<li>Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreements<\/li>\n<li>Support contract administration and mitigate supply chain risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will be part of a procurement team collaborating with multiple project stakeholders across Europe. The position is based in Sweden at one of NKT\u2019s locations\u00a0<strong>in\u00a0<\/strong>Malm\u00f6 or Karlskrona, with some travel\u00a0required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collaborative and structured professional with commercial mindset<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are someone who works well with others and builds trust across teams and suppliers. You approach tasks with structure and attention to detail, while\u00a0remaining\u00a0responsive\u00a0to changing project needs.\u00a0You communicate clearly and contribute to constructive\u00a0collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You also\u00a0have:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 + years of experience in procurement or category management within construction or infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience in sourcing processes and contract negotiations<\/li>\n<li>\u202fFamiliar with Swedish standard construction contracts and frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SAP, Ariba or equivalent tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contribute to sustainable construction and procurement practices<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NKT is committed to developing a diverse organization and culture where people of diverse backgrounds can grow and are inspired to do their best.
