{"id":23302,"date":"2026-09-22T11:39:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:39:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/fabrication-engineer\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T11:39:36","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:39:36","slug":"norsk-hydro-fabrication-engineer-rackwitz-niemcy","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/norsk-hydro-fabrication-engineer-rackwitz-niemcy\/","title":{"rendered":"Fabrication Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>What you will be doing<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will work closely with our plants, technical teams and leadership across Europe to drive <strong>standardization, performance improvement and operational excellence<\/strong>.Your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing and maintaining fabrication standards across Hydro\u2019s European operations, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and improving key manufacturing KPIs such as <strong>OEE, uptime, asset utilization, productivity, scrap and quality<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Leading and coordinating cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and sharing best practices and supporting the harmonization of fabrication processes across the European network.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with plant leadership and technical stakeholders, providing expertise, support and constructive challenge.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement to strengthen technical capabilities across our sites.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting compliance with Hydro\u2019s Quality System, HSE requirements, company policies and relevant customer and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to improvements in <strong>quality, safety, sustainability and overall operational performance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What you bring<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5+ years of experience in fabrication of structural components<\/strong>, including processes such as cutting, milling, assembly, fastening, bending, punching and welding\/joining.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>aluminium extrusion manufacturing<\/strong> is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience with <strong>Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen or Operational Excellence<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience working with and improving manufacturing KPIs, particularly <strong>OEE, uptime and utilization<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Experience participating in or leading <strong>cross-functional improvement projects across multiple sites or regions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher<\/strong> in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fluent English<\/strong>; additional languages are an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of aluminium extrusion processes and manufacturing requirements is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What will make you successful?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You are a <strong>strong communicator and collaborator<\/strong> who can build relationships with stakeholders across different functions, cultures and organizational levels.
