We add value with our people, client service ethos, global delivery strategy, technical ability, and attitude.<\/p>\n<p>We now seek a Senior ICT &amp; Security Engineer to be based out of our London, Bicester or Newcastle office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids<\/li>\n<li>Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares project reports for Management, Client or others.<\/li>\n<li>Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors\u2019 teams<\/li>\n<li>Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the RED Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA\/QC and Technical Review perspective<\/li>\n<li>Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to client<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for running of medium size projects.<\/li>\n<li>Undertakes a client facing role in the development and design and coordination of engineering project services for ICT\/Security installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for technical content and accuracy of Trainee, Graduates and Engineers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Role Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering degree in appropriate ICT infrastructure engineering discipline<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 -10 years\u2019 appropriate employment experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Relevant past employment examples:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IT\/Multi-disciplinary consulting firm<\/li>\n<li>ICT consultancy and project management<\/li>\n<li>Security Consultancy<\/li>\n<li>Construction project management (with a technology emphasis)<\/li>\n<li>Network technology vendor\/manufacturer<\/li>\n<li>Network systems integration contractor<\/li>\n<li>Experience in ICT infrastructure, building ICT fit-out migration and occupation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideally the candidate will have a technical understanding of the following<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical Facilities\/Data Centre Design<\/li>\n<li>Campus Networks<\/li>\n<li>LAN Ethernet Switching<\/li>\n<li>Wi-Fi Network Communications<\/li>\n<li>Structured Cabling Systems<\/li>\n<li>Fibre Optic Networks<\/li>\n<li>Data Cabling Containment Systems<\/li>\n<li>Telecommunication Network Infrastructure and Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"tor__flistingLayout_readOnlyDiv\">\n<div id=\"tor__flistingLayout_content\"><strong>RED offers a variety of benefits, including but not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>23 days annual leave rising to 28 days annual leave over 5 years\u2019 service<\/li>\n<li>Holiday purchase and buy back scheme<\/li>\n<li>Hybrid Working<\/li>\n<li>Contributory company pension scheme<\/li>\n<li>Healthcare Scheme (Company funded cover is dependant on level)<\/li>\n<li>Non-contractual bonus awards<\/li>\n<li>Training sponsorship<\/li>\n<li>Charity volunteering leave<\/li>\n<li>Wellness days\/ initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Salary commensurate with experience.<\/li>\n<li>Our people work in friendly teams with a collaborative approach and mentoring support from talented leaders.<\/li>\n<li>We offer a comprehensive benefits package and are an equal opportunities employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior ICT &amp;
