Working as part of a close-knit team, you&#8217;ll play an important role in helping customers identify the right solutions for their needs while delivering an excellent customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>As a key point of contact for customers, you&#8217;ll provide technical product support, respond to enquiries and prepare quotations across our product portfolio. You&#8217;ll work closely with colleagues across the business, gaining exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of the customer journey while developing your knowledge of electrical products and applications.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you already have experience in technical support, customer service or internal sales, or you&#8217;re looking to move into a more customer-focused role from an electrical, manufacturing or engineering environment, we&#8217;ll provide the support and training needed to help you succeed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing technical support and guidance to customers across a range of electrical products and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email and other communication channels.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and issuing customer quotations using internal pricing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Recording and maintaining customer and project information within CRM systems.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the identification and tracking of project opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to deliver the best possible customer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting wider team activities and contributing to shared goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in ongoing training to develop product, application and industry knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping drive service excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>A customer-focused approach and passion for delivering excellent service.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and communicate technical information.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.<\/li>\n<li>Positive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new products and technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical qualification such as ONC, HNC, BTEC, Degree or equivalent industry experience.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of electrical products, systems and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics or customer specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in technical support, customer service, internal sales or a similar customer-facing role.<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing quotations or supporting customers with product selection.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SalesForce or similar CRM systems<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of product standards, regulations and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What can we offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Performance-Based Bonus:<\/strong> Enjoy an annual bonus linked to the company&#8217;s performance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flexible Working Hours:<\/strong> Achieve a healthy work-life balance with our flexible working arrangements<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pension Plan:<\/strong> Secure your future with our generous pension scheme, with employer contributions up to 10%.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time Off:<\/strong> Recharge and rejuvenate with 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Technical Support Representative &#8211; Electrium Location: This is a hybrid role where you will be able to split your time between Hindley Green office.
