You will inherit a strong and established business while being expected to shape its next phase: strengthening client relationships and performance, developing our people and leadership capability, and expanding Amentum\u2019s position in the growing international market for nuclear lifetime extension and long-term operational support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will provide overall leadership, client focus and strategic direction for our Lifetime Operations delivery programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, a major part of your remit will be our long-standing relationship with a major UK client, supporting the continued operation and lifetime extension of the UK\u2019s nuclear fleet through established professional services and project management arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>You will build on strong foundations: experienced teams, significant technical and project management capability, commercial expertise and client relationships developed over many years.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this established portfolio, you will lead the development of our wider long term operations delivery business, identifying opportunities to take Amentum\u2019s experience and capability to new clients and geographies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will have accountability for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall business leadership and P&amp;L performance across the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Senior client relationships and the delivery of our client mission<\/li>\n<li>Safe, predictable and high-quality programme and operational performance<\/li>\n<li>Commercial and financial outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Leadership, talent development, succession and organisational capability<\/li>\n<li>Continuous improvement and development of the portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening and broadening our position with the client<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, shaping and securing new long term operations and lifetime extension programmes in the UK and internationally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Leading Through an Integrated Organisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Success in this role will depend on your ability to lead both directly and through influence.<\/p>\n<p>Our engineering and technical capabilities operate across the wider Energy organisation. You will therefore define the capability your programmes need and work across a matrix organisation to bring together the right technical, project management and specialist expertise to deliver for our clients.<\/p>\n<p>You will also work alongside established senior client relationship, programme and technical leaders.
