The Delivery Director is responsible for the successful execution and financial performance of Fluence\u2019s project portfolio within the sub-region. This role owns project delivery outcomes from sales contract handoff, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, at or above expected margin, and to the satisfaction of the customer.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be a results-driven operator and people leader, capable of scaling delivery excellence while partnering closely with services, customer success, product, and supply chain teams. The Delivery Director will collaborate with the Director of Solutions Engineering, as well as the Global Project Excellence leader and the Global Operations and Quality leader to ensure continuous productivity and quality improvements across all Fluence engagements within the sub-region.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Project Delivery Excellence<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the Projects organization to deliver all projects to the highest standards of customer outcomes, safety, quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance with specific focus on delivering to COD on time and rapidly closing out Final Completion.<\/li>\n<li>Define project-specific success metrics with customers at the outset of each engagement and ensure disciplined execution against agreed scope, milestones, and performance commitments.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and enforce consistent project management standards, governance, and best practices across the region, including risk management, change control, and escalation protocols. Coordinate with Heads of Projects, Delivery Directors around the region and collaborate with the VP Project Excellence to ensure and enforce consistent global frameworks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Projects P&amp;L<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve as-sold or better financial outcomes for all projects.<\/li>\n<li>Define and execute a projects execution strategy to ensure people capacity planning, that balances near-term outcomes and long-term growth plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Cross-Functional Leadership<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner closely with Sales, Product, Supply Chain and Services teams to ensure project commitments are executable, clearly scoped, and delivered as sold.<\/li>\n<li>Champion a \u201cOne Fluence\u201d approach to project delivery, ensuring clarity of ownership, transparency, and accountability across functions.<\/li>\n<li>Influence prioritization and decision-making through delivery insights, execution risk assessments, and project performance data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Performance Management &amp; Continuous Improvement<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build a dynamic and customer focused team capable of scaling to meet the business needs with measurable productivity gains year over year.<\/li>\n<li>Define, track, and report on project KPIs, including schedule performance, cost performance, margin, safety, quality, and revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Lead regular project, portfolio, and executive business reviews to assess performance, surface risks and drive corrective action.<\/li>\n<li>Leverage data, lessons learned, and post-project reviews to continuously improve project execution processes, tools, and operating models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Leadership<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as the senior Customer Success executive in their defined sub-region managing strong, trusted and ongoing relationships with key customer executives and market stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Establish Fluence as the most dependable provider of energy storage and foster repeat business.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a member of the Europe Customer Success Leadership Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale project delivery, construction, EPC, or infrastructure execution within energy, renewables, grid infrastructure, or technology-enabled industrial environments.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of owning and delivering a project P&amp;L, including revenue forecasting, margin delivery, cash flow management, and change order governance.<\/li>\n<li>Deep experience leading complex, multi-site, project-based delivery organizations, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of energy storage systems, power systems, and large-scale infrastructure project lifecycles.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success driving safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost discipline in high-risk, operationally complex environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience implementing standardized project management frameworks, governance models, and performance reporting at scale.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to partner effectively with Supply Chain, Product, Services, Finance, and Customer Success teams.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field required.<\/li>\n<li>MBA or advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li><b>Business Fluent English and German<\/b> (C1 level in both speaking and writing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong management presence and stakeholder management skills with customers, partners, and internal leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Operationally disciplined leader with strong commercial and financial acumen.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to deliver results in complex, high-accountability project
