We are a team of almost 15 project managers headed from Denmark but located in multiple geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to manage one of our key New Product Introductions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all launches (NPI, Tech Transfers and Module Updates) are carried out successfully with manufacturing stability and proper training to local employees<\/li>\n<li>Developing and leading robust project organizations, managing all aspects of the project across the value chain with project management best practices and in compliance with Vestas project processes<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of agreed project results within the tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks and benefits<\/li>\n<li>Own project governance, stakeholder management, finances, resources and planning; lead workstreams\/sub-PMs and move decisions through senior steering committees<\/li>\n<li>Larger programmes can involve around 250 participants and 10 workstreams<\/li>\n<li>Projects may also include manufacturing optimization and digital manufacturing transformation \/ IT implementation<\/li>\n<li>Long term, raise the maturity and quality of project leadership across Manufacturing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in project management, management discipline or engineering<\/li>\n<li>IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP or similar project management certificate- 7+ years project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Previously responsible for 10 mEUR+ capital expenditures projects<\/li>\n<li>Proficient communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing<\/li>\n<li>Know-how from the wind industry will be an advantage, but it is not a must<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key areas of expertise are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Value chain understanding<\/li>\n<li>Market and customer understanding- Business case understanding<\/li>\n<li>Steering Committee facilitation and governance<\/li>\n<li>Situational Leadership &#8211; Leading over distance and across cultures including Leading leaders<\/li>\n<li>Project budgeting, controlling and accounting<\/li>\n<li>Risk management<\/li>\n<li>Project planning, monitoring and control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In addition, this could describe you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You take accountability for your team&#8217;s performance, responsibility for your decisions and speak up when facing challenges and issues<\/li>\n<li>You are able to build trust and fully empower your project team to ensure full engagement and utilization of skills and competencies, allowing you to keep the overview<\/li>\n<li>You communicate upwards, outwards and downwards in an open, direct and clear way to ensure full transparency and alignment<\/li>\n<li>You approach your projects with curiosity and execute diligently, steadily and purposefully with focus on cooperation, stakeholder management and &#8220;what is best for Vestas&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We offer you an exciting and challenging job with great professional and personal development opportunities in a highly professional, international work environment at a top manufacturer of wind turbines &#8211; and the most sustainable company in the world.
