As Functional Manager Control &amp; Protection Engineering, you will play a key role in leading and developing the Control and Protection Engineering function within our HUB Europe Operating Unit Substation Automation Engineering organization.<\/p>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to combine people leadership with functional governance, engineering excellence, and strategic development. You will lead a team of Team Leaders across multiple locations and ensure that the function has the competencies, capacity, processes, tools, and standard solutions required to successfully deliver today&#8217;s projects while building future capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>If you are passionate about developing people, driving standardization, fostering collaboration, and advancing engineering excellence, we would be excited to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How you\u2019ll make an impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 12 Team Leaders responsible for Control and Protection Engineering resources across the Operating Unit<\/li>\n<li>Drive harmonization and standardization of engineering processes, tools, guidelines, and ways of working to enhance collaboration and delivery excellence<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective utilization of engineering resources and accountability for the quality and performance of services delivered by the function<\/li>\n<li>Harmonize hardware and software engineering tools across the Control and Protection Engineering community<\/li>\n<li>Lead competency and capacity management activities to ensure the organization is equipped to meet current and future project demands<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement standard engineering solutions that strengthen efficiency, scalability, and market competitiveness<\/li>\n<li>Define and maintain cost estimation models for Control and Protection Engineering and testing activities within projects<\/li>\n<li>Contribute actively to the Operating Unit Substation Automation Engineering Management Team and support strategic initiatives, continuous improvement, and Center of Excellence projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your background<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience within Substation Automation Systems, Control &amp; Protection Engineering, or a closely related field<\/li>\n<li>Previous people leadership experience as a Team Leader or Manager, with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of engineering processes, project execution, technical solutions, and tools within Substation Automation environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience in competency development, workforce planning, capacity management, engineering standardization, and organizational transformation initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across a complex international organization<\/li>\n<li>Structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to decision-making and problem-solving<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
