The successful candidate will play a key role in managing multidisciplinary project teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering complex wastewater treatment and collection system projects from concept through to commissioning.<\/p>\n<p>This is a senior, client-facing position requiring strong technical expertise, project management capability, and leadership skills. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of Egis&#8217; Water business while supporting the delivery of critical national wastewater infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Dublin\/Cork\/Limerick\/Castlebar (Hybrid)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Delivery &amp; Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the planning, design and delivery of wastewater treatment and collection projects.<\/li>\n<li>Manage projects through all stages of delivery, including feasibility, concept design, planning, detailed design, procurement, construction support and commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Act as Project Manager on major wastewater and infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure projects are delivered safely, to programme, within budget and in accordance with quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including civil, process, mechanical, electrical, environmental and planning specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project risk, programme, resources and financial performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Client Relationship Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for Uisce \u00c9ireann and other key clients.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and successful project delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Lead project progress meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Understand client objectives and provide strategic technical advice.<\/li>\n<li>Support framework management and contribute to securing repeat business opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for wastewater treatment and network projects.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve designs, specifications, reports and technical submissions.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and develop engineers and project managers.<\/li>\n<li>Drive innovation and promote best practice in wastewater infrastructure delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of technical standards and procedures within the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the preparation of bids, tenders and framework submissions.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for business growth within existing client accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in industry forums and represent Egis in client and professional engagements.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to strategic business planning within the Water sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Commercial &amp; Contract Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor project profitability and commercial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage project budgets and resource allocations.<\/li>\n<li>Administer engineering contracts and support contract negotiations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with client requirements and company governance procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree (Level 8) or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional institution.<\/li>\n<li>Full clean driving licence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in the planning, design and delivery of water or wastewater infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience delivering projects for <strong>Uisce \u00c9ireann<\/strong>, local authorities or similar public sector utility clients.<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in project management of multidisciplinary engineering projects.<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing project teams and mentoring technical staff.<\/li>\n<li>Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting projects through design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, pumping stations, rising mains, sewer networks and sludge management infrastructure would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working under NEC, FIDIC or Public Works Contracts is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp;
