EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this position as Power System Engineer, you will join our global team of experts and work on challenging international projects. Your finest task in our team will be power system modeling, study analysis and assessing energy impact on the grid.<\/p>\n

\n

On a day-to-day basis, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • model a steady-state analysis, such as a load flow and a short circuit,<\/li>\n
  • model dynamic time domain simulations (RMS) involving both generic type models as well as manufacturer-specific models,<\/li>\n
  • prepare transient time domain simulations (EMT) concerning, e.g., energization, switching and faults, control stability and general insulation coordination,<\/li>\n
  • perform reactive power capability analysis, including strategy and controllers for regulation of voltage and reactive power,<\/li>\n
  • be responsible for power quality and harmonic analysis,<\/li>\n
  • deal with a Grid Code compliance assessment, including ION and FON,<\/li>\n
  • be involved in developing dynamic controller models in PowerFactory,<\/li>\n
  • prepare and review technical reports related to the needed area of expertise,<\/li>\n
  • be involved in inter-department coordination and communication with colleagues in Europe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To succeed in this position, you should have very good English communication skills, you should be able to work independently within a project team and provide reliability and hardworking with attention to detail.<\/p>\n

    Furthermore, you should:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • hold a master’s degree in Electrical\/Power System Engineering,<\/li>\n
    • have 5-8 years of experience in power system analysis in generation, transmission and distribution systems,<\/li>\n
    • have experience using the following software: DigSilent PowerFactory (highly demanded),<\/li>\n
    • have experience in PSCAD as an advantage,<\/li>\n
    • provide professional working experience in the Power Systems domain. Proven background and confirmed experience in Power Systems is desired,<\/li>\n
    • understand network calculation requirements and be familiar with European network Grid Codes, e.g., NC RfG, NC DC,<\/li>\n
    • provide a proficient understanding of renewables generation, electrical Transmission\\Distribution Networks,<\/li>\n
    • be able to document and demonstrate solutions and processes by preparing documentation, diagrams, and charts,<\/li>\n
    • have working knowledge in Python coding \u2013 desirable,<\/li>\n
    • be expected to be a role model for work ethics and the quality of the work delivered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
