Meet our Client<\/strong><\/p>\n

A private investment company, with a portfolio of 300 MW Ready-to-Build (RtB) projects: 220 MW in high voltage (HV) and 80 MW in medium voltage (MV). With a promising project pipeline for several years, we are seeking a hands-on senior manager to lead the execution of renewable investments on the investor\u2019s side<\/p>\n

\n

Position: Construction Director <\/strong><\/p>\n

Place of work: Western Poland<\/p>\n

\n

Position Objective:<\/strong> Effective management of the project portfolio. The Construction Director is a critical role in the organization, reporting to the Country Director and Group Head of Engineering. This position involves managing a substantial portfolio of photovoltaic (PV) projects.<\/p>\n

Reports to: Country Director<\/p>\n

Collaborates with: Group Head of Engineering, CFO, Owner, and Country Manager<\/p>\n

Direct Reports: 3 Project Managers (holding construction licenses), Site Managers (subcontractors), 2-3 contractors\/external supervisors (inspection supervisors)<\/p>\n

Location: The Majority of projects are located between Wroc\u0142aw, Pozna\u0144, Warsaw.<\/p>\n

\n

Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • include:Collaboration with Contracting Managers: Provide expertise in preparing optimal pricing for construction work and material procurement.<\/li>\n
  • Project Oversight: Prepare and execute projects through Project Managers and ensure effective risk management.<\/li>\n
  • Technical Advisory: Offer guidance to the team in resolving on-site technical challenges.<\/li>\n
  • Active Construction Participation: Participate actively in the construction process, conducting regular site visits.<\/li>\n
  • Representation: Act as the company\u2019s representative in dealings with contractors and regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n
  • Comprehensive Execution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibility:<\/strong> Take full responsibility for all aspects related to the 300 MW PV project portfolio.<\/p>\n

    Key Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Education<\/strong>: Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-technical Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • Experience<\/strong>: Proven track record in managing large-scale photovoltaic farms, particularly HV projects.<\/li>\n
    • Licensing<\/strong>: Electrical installation licences are beneficial, but not mandatory.<\/li>\n
    • Technical Skills<\/strong>: Proficiency in MS Project.<\/li>\n
    • Language Skills<\/strong>: English at B2 level or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
