This Data Centre Project is in a region where further growth is expected and is an opportunity for an ambitious SQS to grow their career with support and guidance from our senior commercial team members based in Dublin.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide support to Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions including, but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with contract obligations and provide advice and monitoring of same to construction team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management<\/li>\n<li>Compile monthly progress applications and ensure they are inclusive of accurate remeasure, site variations, day-works or claims<\/li>\n<li>Procurement &#8211; operational procurement activity and contract support, in conjunction with the Procurement Department<\/li>\n<li>Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations and final account<\/li>\n<li>Managing and forecasting of turnover and cash flow of the projects<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and reliable reporting<\/li>\n<li>Identify, Analyse and report on trends within the Business &amp; Projects<\/li>\n<li>Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and \/or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies<\/li>\n<li>To ensure Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same<\/li>\n<li>Manage the Commercial Team on site.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties associated with this role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Key Skills\/ Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant third level qualification essential in Quantity Surveying\/ Construction Economics<\/li>\n<li>Previous Data Centre experience preferable but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 6+ years&#8217; experience post qualification essential<\/li>\n<li>Experience in an Electrical role required<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team<\/li>\n<li>Excellent IT Skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>We offer competitive salaries in line with qualifications and experience<\/li>\n<li>Financial support for further training<\/li>\n<li>Facility to gain chartered status available in-house<\/li>\n<li>Performance incentives and the ability to progress your career with a world class engineering contractor<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Employee Incentive Scheme<\/li>\n<li>All flights, accommodation and transport to work will be provided to the successful candidate.<\/li>\n<li>Overseas subsistence payments will also be provided to the successful candidate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>About Us<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Jones Engineering we have over 128 years\u2019 experience as a world class engineering contractor.
