We are looking for a Ship Designer to design outfitting or systems within engine rooms for our client in shipbuilding industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Your responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
    \n
  • Creation of detailed 3D models of deck outfitting (anchor winches, mooring winches, watertight doors, hatches, etc.) or systems within engine rooms<\/li>\n
  • Preparation of design and construction documentation for both repaired and newly built vessels, including arrangements, isometric drawings, and BOMs<\/li>\n
  • Quality assurance of drawings and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations<\/li>\n
  • Close cooperation with specialists from various disciplines to ensure integrated project execution<\/li>\n
  • Analysis and interpretation of regulations set by Classification Societies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirements during ship design, construction, and repair processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

      What you bring to the table<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
        \n
      • At least 1 year of experience in shipbuilding design, for example with anchor winches, mooring winches, engine rooms, main and auxiliary systems, watertight doors, hatches, etc.<\/li>\n
      • Technical education (preferably in marine engineering or mechanical engineering)<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office software<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of English at a communicative level (B1\/B2)<\/li>\n
      • Extensive experience in developing and managing technical and construction documentation<\/li>\n
      • Willingness to onboard within the first three months onsite in Gdynia, with a hybrid working mode afterward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
