We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our team in Poland. This role can be based from Elblag or Warsaw.\u00a0 As an SQE you will be quality monitoring external suppliers for new build projects of Arabelle Solutions BOP valves according to supplier quality RACI ensuring appropriate controls are implemented on purchased products, all along procurement, manufacturing and packing.<\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for carrying out audits and inspections at equipment suppliers, including review and assessment of their QMS and quality control activities and requesting corrective actions where necessary.\u00a0 Ultimately your goal is to improve quality of products within the process whilst ensuring that quality and safety standards are adhered to at all times and that product is compliant with contact requirements and applicable regulations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other keys Responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To propose improvement projects to increase the effectiveness of the processes<\/li>\n<li>Assess suppliers manufacturing capability through Commodity Technical Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Record related actions plans and approve qualification requests in the supplier database<\/li>\n<li>Attend pre-award meetings with suppliers and Sourcing\/Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to award sheet with quality inputs<\/li>\n<li>Confirm supplier surveillance strategy with project team<\/li>\n<li>Organize the kick-off &amp; pre-inspection meetings with suppliers and relevant GE representatives<\/li>\n<li>Support PQM in supplier quality documentation review<\/li>\n<li>Review and validate all inspection reports by final conclusion<\/li>\n<li>Release material for shipment ensure all deviations are closed<\/li>\n<li>Review the End Of Manufacturing Reports (EOMR)<\/li>\n<li>Authorize shipment once all quality requirements are met<\/li>\n<li>Continuously follow up the punch items and nonconformities resulting from the quality surveillance inspections up to their closure<\/li>\n<li>Record and\/or distribute nonconformities identified at suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Drive RCA with suppliers, with 8D at least following High &amp; Critical NCRs<\/li>\n<li>Initiate and contribute to the Supplier Performance Rating Process<\/li>\n<li>Support Sourcing in updating suppliers\u2019 qualification status based on their performance assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intuitionprofiledescription\">\n<div class=\"intuitiondescription\">\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors Degree in Engineering<\/li>\n<li>A degree or qualification in Quality Management would be preferable but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Auditor Certification would be desirable but not necessary<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience in a combination of Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of quality management in large projects would be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Polish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Characteristics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer focused in defining quality and establishing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Strong oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver effective presentations and educate at all levels of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Understands the principles of Six Sigma \/ Lean methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence cross-functional business teams and drive quality improvements.<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of NDT principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity in a growing market?
