We are looking for a Subsea Project Engineer to join our team in Stavanger or Oslo, Norway. In this role, you\u2019ll lead the technical execution of a work package from design through to delivery and installation. You\u2019ll be the go-to person for ensuring engineering, documentation, and execution meet client expectations, project timelines, and budget requirements.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Take ownership of assigned packages, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget<\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and inspection plans<\/li>\n
  • Act as the key technical interface for suppliers, customers, and internal teams<\/li>\n
  • Review and approve supplier documentation and progress reports<\/li>\n
  • Manage risks, deviations, and design changes<\/li>\n
  • Oversee documentation and hardware handover for testing and installation<\/li>\n
  • Support procurement, quality, and fabrication follow-up<\/li>\n
  • Participate in design reviews, FATs, and interface meetings<\/li>\n
  • Track and report package status<\/li>\n
  • Drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)<\/li>\n
    • Experience in subsea oil and gas<\/li>\n
    • Proven success in managing technical packages or scopes<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred); simulation tools a plus<\/li>\n
    • Solid knowledge of subsea codes and standards<\/li>\n
    • Skilled in reviewing technical documents and interpreting fabrication drawings<\/li>\n
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills<\/li>\n
    • Fluent in English (Norwegian is a plus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
