We have manifested our commitment to never leave anyone behind, meaning every employee is critical to the success of the mission.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you will take part in securing these values by working together in a team effort to deliver the best possible experience.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the sense of accomplishment we experience when overcoming challenges makes the effort worthwhile.<\/p>\n<p>We set high ambitions and \u201cReach\u201d for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Senior Offshore Geophysicist<\/strong>\u00a0is responsible for the data acquisition, quality control, interpretation and production of our geophysical deliverables.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key tasks and responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the preparation of project documentation, as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the data acquired is according to the project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of required offshore reports.<\/li>\n<li>Interpretation and integration of acquired geophysical data to produce site reports.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of QC and interpretation logs.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate with the team to ensure that all deliverable timelines are met.<\/li>\n<li>Support the final deliveries in the office as required after a project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Senior role will be responsible for deliverables and lead the offshore geophysical team, providing advice and guidance. The Senior Geophysicist may also take on the Offshore Report Coordinator role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MSc or BSc in Marine Geoscience, or related field. Relevant experience may substitute formal education If applicable:<\/li>\n<li>Offshore safety training and a valid medical certificate for offshore work, as required by regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Satisfactory completion of the IMCA competence criteria for Geophysicist Grade I, and Nominally 24 months\u2019 experience as a Geophysicist Grade I, or: Relevant experience in a survey related discipline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and cooperation skills<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>High level of attention to detail<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fluent in English<\/strong>, written and spoken<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Offshore position is open for contracts in Norway, UK, Sweden or Singapore.\u00a0 Do you have a passion for marine geophysical surveys and sustainable ocean access?
