While you&#8217;ll be hired and supported by Dornan, you will be placed directly on Turner&#8217;s project team, working alongside top-tier professionals on some of the most advanced builds in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Current roles are primarily based in Madrid, with future opportunities expected further afield in Europe. Depending on your role, you may be site-based (with relocation support if needed), or offered remote working options, which will be clarified during the interview process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your day to day will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and review the commercial performance of the projects from \u2018cradle to grave&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Commercial control of the projects allocated to him<\/li>\n<li>Collation, review presentation and the management of subsequent actions arising from the monthly cost reviews<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project activity is within forecasted cash flow and agreed strategy, and actively monitor to ensure Project Director is aware of the cash position.<\/li>\n<li>Review contract specifications and scopes with stakeholders to identify risks or gaps in the project&#8217;s plan and support the Project Manager in the development and implementation of a risk management plan<\/li>\n<li>Manage the commercial project team to engender their improvement and technical development<\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage the business unit risk and regularly review them for the project<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the CCS reporting is formulated accurately and submitted on time<\/li>\n<li>Manage the close of completed projects to the best commercial advantage of the company<\/li>\n<li>Managing the Client and other external relationships<\/li>\n<li>Provide commercial\/contract support as required, ensuring commercial practices are followed<\/li>\n<li>To work with the project managers and senior QS to maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start up to project completion<\/li>\n<li>Lead and ensure the effective collation of data and information to provide analysis and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Involved in the development and managing of the project measure and reporting<\/li>\n<li>To ensure all projects are driven to provide the best value solutions and delivered on time and within budget<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven expertise in quantity surveying &amp; procurement, ideally on large-scale projects.<\/li>\n<li>Degree-qualified, with chartered status (MRICS) or working towards it.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC or JCT contracts and cost management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with or without legal resources to draft contract clauses which capture the essential commercial issues of any situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Dornan?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our commitment to our employees development\u00a0\u2013 we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Wellbeing\u00a0\u2013 Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
