{"id":5287,"date":"2025-07-16T00:29:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T06:57:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=5287"},"modified":"2025-07-16T08:25:23","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T06:25:23","slug":"dornan-group-electrical-project-manager-madrid-spain","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5287","title":{"rendered":"Electrical Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At Dornan\u202fwe are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to work on a datacentre project\u00a0 based in Madrid<\/p>\n<p>Dornan is hiring on behalf of Turner Construction, a global leader in construction services, for a major data centre project in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world&#8217;s most respected general contractors. While you&#8217;ll be hired and supported by Dornan, you will be placed directly on Turner&#8217;s project team, working alongside top-tier professionals on some of the most advanced builds in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Current roles are primarily based in Madrid, with future opportunities expected further afield in Europe. Depending on your role, you may be site-based (with relocation support if needed), or offered remote working options, which will be clarified during the interview process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your day to day will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the Director of the project regarding staffing for the project<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with client and design team on procurement and engineering issues<\/li>\n<li>Develop project safety and quality plans<\/li>\n<li>Mobilise sub-contractors and labour in accordance with business plan<\/li>\n<li>Effective day to day running of site activities<\/li>\n<li>Delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost<\/li>\n<li>Monthly team meetings to discuss project progress against milestones<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with programme, materials deliveries, engineering, quality and safety<\/li>\n<li>Ensure audits to be carried out by the Engineering Manager in accordance with the design plan<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings with client<\/li>\n<li>Hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors covering health, safety and training<\/li>\n<li>Ensure testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the Quality Plan and projects specific requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all systems are demonstrated to Client and projects Building control officer<\/li>\n<li>Prepare final account with the QS, submit and agree with client in line with company objective<\/li>\n<li>Demobilise site team and establishment in conjunction with Director of the project<\/li>\n<li>Produce a project close-out report and submit to the Operations Director<\/li>\n<li>Undertake a lessons learnt review on the project and present these findings to the Directors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant electrical degree\/qualification (HNC or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple large electrical packages<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in electrical project management<\/li>\n<li>Good financial and commercial knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Dornan?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our commitment to our employees development\u00a0\u2013 we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Wellbeing\u00a0\u2013 Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
