{"id":5360,"date":"2025-10-17T00:32:30","date_gmt":"2025-06-11T12:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=5360"},"modified":"2025-10-17T10:03:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T08:03:30","slug":"worley-hvac-engineer-antwerp-antwerpia","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5360","title":{"rendered":"HVAC Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">The\u00a0<strong>HVAC Enginee<\/strong>r\u00a0will join the European project engineering teams for the\u00a0E&amp;C(Energy &amp; Chemicals) business line and will have the\u00a0<b><strong style=\"font-style: inherit;\">Antwerp office in Belgium as home office.<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Working in a multidisciplinary engineering team, the\u00a0HVAC Engineer\u00a0is responsible for the design, calculations and specifications of HVAC and utility systems for the design of new\u00a0\u00a0(petro)chemical manufacturing facilities and other advanced facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Starting from the Client Requirements, the client SOP\u2019s, and all applicable engineering codes, the HVAC Engineer develops HVAC design criteria, descriptions, aeraulic schematics, data sheets, specifications, materials requisitions and other engineering deliverables. The HVAC Engineer will report to the Belgian HVAC Dept. Head, and shall be supported by a HVAC Senior Engineer, on a project basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">You&#8217;ll be:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Execute the HVAC design (from Feasibility to Detailed Design) of buildings or petrochemical projects, greenfield or retrofit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Attend technical meetings with Customer\u2019s HVAC counterparts (in English or local German, Dutch or French language) in all project phases to discuss the technical solutions, the User Requirements, standards and codes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Understand the desired goal of the system and designs the optimal HVAC systems to meet the requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Plan, organize and execute P&amp;IDs, PFDs, airflow diagrams, AF&amp;IDs, zoning diagrams, pressurization diagrams, HVAC ductwork and HVAC piping plans, sections, details, and equipment schedules in all phases, from Feasibility through Concept and Basic until Detailed Design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Interface closely and support the other disciplines, e.g. Civil, Electrical, Automation, Piping, to formalize the HVAC needs and to support the design of the related systems out of HVAC scope<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Select and size the aeraulic control equipment (dampers, cassettes etc.) and the related control systems in collaboration with the vendors and other engineering disciplines<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Identify, dimension and specify equipment such as AHUs, EFs, FCUs, air distribution in-line devices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Coordinate with the Commissioning and Qualification Team to help defining the Commissioning strategy and reflect it into the design of the HVAC systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Participate to the HVAC Equipment Vendors and Works Contractors selection by aligning technically the offers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Follow up the construction works by approving Third Party drawings, answering RFI\u2019s and attending site meetings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Investigate eventual HVAC technical problem, consult with other experts and coordinate directly with equipment suppliers to find optimal solutions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Support the Construction Team to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conforms to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">You&#8217;ll have:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">English mother tongue or fully fluent is mandatory, Dutch is a plus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">BS or MS in Mechanical or Equivalent Engineering discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Experience in HVAC engineering and design for (petro)chemical or other advanced facilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Willing to learn.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Ability to work independently and complete tasks as scheduled<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Working knowledge of the European Mechanical, Building, &amp; Energy codes related to the engineering and design of industrial buildings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral skills in English, ability to work in a team environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-style: inherit;
