Operative will drive or partner in a Sustaining works Van.<\/p>\n<p>This role will be mostly based in the Western \/ Connaught region of the country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities of the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experienced fire protection\u00a0pipe fitters.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible to travel around the country.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work on own initiative \/ lead fitter.<\/li>\n<li>Full drivers\u2019 licence. (optional).<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and build relationships with clients.<\/li>\n<li>Competent in draining \/ refilling sprinkler systems.<\/li>\n<li>Competent in operating fire pumps \/ related fire alarms<\/li>\n<li>Planning and working from sprinkler drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in LPC and FM sprinkler rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Qualifications and Key Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safe Pass \/ manual handling<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline.<\/li>\n<li>National Craft Certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to manage a job to completion \/ attend white board meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible for outside of normal working hours.<\/li>\n<li>A construction background.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scope of the Role: We are looking for sprinkler pipefitters to join our Sustainment department in our fire protection division.
