You\u2019ll drive added value through sourcing strategically, value engineering, innovation delivery and risk management. Deliver best in class performance through professional, competitive, and efficient buying processes, controls, and systems for the project(s). Mentoring and potentially leading junior procurement personnel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for procurement to pay process from Sourcing to invoice clearance.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct complex bid process for equipment, materials and \/ or services and do commercial evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Write Procurement Project Execution Plans<\/li>\n<li>Create Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function<\/li>\n<li>Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and\/or services required for assigned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate vendor alliances, rebate agreements,master service agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess materials.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently.<\/li>\n<li>Create internal reports.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct external reporting (Outside of Procurement Department)<\/li>\n<li>Expected to work with only general supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring and potentially leading junior procurement personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Identify new supplier sources and recommend new sourcing strategies in assigned area.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate the logistics of goods and\/services required for assigned projects.<\/li>\n<li>Work with other buyers and Line Manager to eliminate wasteful processes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in proposals support when required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Acumen<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Information Monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining performance under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Strong Negotiation<\/li>\n<li>Organizational Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Planning and Organizing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have construction buying experience in the Semicon industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a similar role within an engineering or construction company.<\/li>\n<li>A third level qualification preferably in supply chain or other related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Strong negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6 years\u2019 work experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize workload efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Previous ERP experience.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive travel will be required (Europe)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some Technical Knowledge of the Construction Industry would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>A third level qualification preferably in supply chain, engineering, or other related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Results-driven with project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and resilience \u2013 being able to adjust positively to situations that involve changing tasks and\/or location, shifting priorities or ambiguity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a senior buyer, you\u2019ll manage the procurement of materials, goods, and services for assigned Projects, ensuring that you are optimising the cost, quality, and service.
