This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and CSA assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Site QA in conjunction and the CSA Package manager on \u2018Right First Time install.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that safety standards and compliance with quality standards codes are met.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the management of all costs associated with your package including:\n<ul>\n<li>Mercury CSA Team<\/li>\n<li>Sub-contractors<\/li>\n<li>Material deliveries and goods receipting.<\/li>\n<li>Plant and Equipment<\/li>\n<li>Variations<\/li>\n<li>Valuations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of all milestone dates and ensure all on site activities are as per the produced schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Management of all day to day on site operations.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the day-to-day site activities to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub-contractor.<\/li>\n<li>Management of the Mercury \u201cIn Progress\u201d snagging system ensuring that you return weekly punch lists where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.<\/li>\n<li>Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Close out of all project items including O &amp; M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, \u2013 all with the support of the CSA package manager.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the upkeep of redline drawings to develop as installed drawings for the O&amp;M Manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Implement a weekly look ahead ensuring co-ordination with other trades.<\/li>\n<li>Issue internal weekly progress report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Mercury, e.g.: late deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.<\/li>\n<li>Assigning work in line with construction schedules<\/li>\n<li>Manage productivity and meet work goals.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to improved construction practices and designs.<\/li>\n<li>Administrative duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure construction materials are ordered and inventory available in line with planned work requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Keep progress records of activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and track personnel attendance and performance for future evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and schedule activities, estimate time and materials, supervise subordinates, maintain records and files, and prepare reports.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and support as the team installs.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that safety standards and compliance with quality standards codes are met.<\/li>\n<li>Assigning work in line with construction schedules<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to improved construction practices and designs.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend procedure revisions when necessary to fully utilize assigned personnel and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and CSA assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Engineering to ensure conformance with standards.<\/li>\n<li>Attend construction meetings as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare progress reports for management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria for the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A trade background and 5 &#8211; 10 years previous experience in supervising large installation crews and sub-contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Health &amp; Safety<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in design and build.<\/li>\n<li>Good technical knowledge of CSA systems<\/li>\n<li>Excellent IT skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well within strict deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive a large-scale project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities of the Role: Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Mercury Safety Advisor.
