Together with our clients, we\u2019re helping to deliver the energy transition globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Overview of role<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Our Nuclear: Defence and Civil division are recruiting Senior Structural Engineers to join our fast growing team where you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of exciting projects ranging from defence, nuclear, other energy and infrastructure projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Oversee all phases of project development, from feasibility and conceptual design to detailed engineering, planning support, construction, and commissioning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating with internal Mott MacDonald engineers and external clients\/stakeholders to deliver cost-effective infrastructure solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Support discipline leads and\/or independently perform analysis, design, and verification of reinforced concrete and structural steelwork using industry-standard design and analysis software.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Develop clear, precise specifications and minimum functional requirements for the civil\/structural engineering aspects of nuclear projects in English.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Conduct site visits and attend client offices as needed to support project requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Mentor and provide guidance to Graduate Structural Engineers, fostering their technical development and professional growth.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Experience with software packages commonly used in structural design such as Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, and TEDDS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">High quality technical skills in structural engineering<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Chartered engineer status as a member of a relevant institution<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A background of experience in structural engineering, across all stages of design through to construction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Strong collaboration and communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Proactive and energetic approach to work, with commitment for delivering excellence.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Sense of ownership and accountability for your responsibilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Dedication to continuous learning, with a keen interest in expanding technical expertise and developing new skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We are actively recruiting a diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities we serve.
