The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical leadership, strategic direction, project oversight, and team development for all activities related to P&amp;C design and implementation across transmission and distribution systems.<\/p>\n<p>In this leadership role, you will be a key member of our Transmission &amp; Distribution team dedicated to engaging with our clients and directly contributing to the successful delivery of groundbreaking and technically challenging P&amp;C design projects encompassing the T&amp;D projects.<\/p>\n<p>This is a Technical Director level role in combination with integrated project management and delivery to support the growth of our UK &amp; Ireland T&amp;D practice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of P&amp;C engineers and technical specialists.<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic and technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of Protection &amp; Control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Establish technical standards, procedures, and best practices for protection schemes, control systems, and SCADA integration.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve protection coordination studies, relay settings, and logic diagrams.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering expertise from the concept to detailed design of transmission &amp; distribution projects, including substations, power generating stations, data centers, BESS and renewables.<\/li>\n<li>Check and review engineering deliverables such as complex designs, reports, proposals, presentations and drawing packages.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll provide technical expertise in bids and proposals and represent the Company in client meetings as a senior member of the P&amp;C team, applying your experience and expertise to a range of exciting and interesting projects.<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for assigned project scope, technical delivery, and client engagement for P&amp;C scope within projects.<\/li>\n<li>You will have the opportunity to be involved in large programmes of work like Great Grid Upgrade (GGP) projects.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction packages.<\/li>\n<li>Provide expert technical evaluations and offer problem-solving solutions to different team members.
