The ideal candidate will have experience working in either rail station or buildings electrical services design and coordination.<\/p>\n<p>As an Electrical Engineer you will review and produce electrical designs. We are looking for someone who\u2019s dedicated, diligent, and driven, and will take this challenge head on, being part of a dynamic team with big ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client<\/li>\n<li>Producing electrical designs to project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Develop design from feasibility up to As Built<\/li>\n<li>Production of design proposals (e.g. sketches) for agreement with the client, stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers etc.<\/li>\n<li>Writing project communications such as Requests For Information (RFI\u2019s) &amp; meeting minutes<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining trackers, registers and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out design reviews and working to design assurance processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"jobad-qualifications\"><strong>What do we need from you<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical Engineering qualification<\/li>\n<li>Experience in rail station or buildings electrical services design and coordination<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in an engineering production environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience of multi-disciplinary design and coordination, and the delivery of projects to a high quality, throughout all design stages<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with 3D models in a BIM environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience of producing drawings, schedules and calculations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to find solutions to engineering problems<\/li>\n<li>Capable of managing design interfaces and integration processes<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of British Standards and Regulations<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of project scopes, requirements, works information<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of delivering work to a programme and budget<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication and collaboration abilities<\/li>\n<li>Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of electrical systems from a technical and design perspective<\/li>\n<li>Experience using engineering software tools including Trimble\/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux or Relux<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Electrical Engineer to join the Transport Solutions MEPHFC Design Team.
