You will support our design and engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders in developing and managing digital design and data environments using industry-recognised BIM processes and technologies.<\/p>\n<p>You will be part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team, contributing to improved collaboration, design efficiency, and asset information management, with an emphasis on the UK Power Sector including substations, overhead lines, and underground cables.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead or support the implementation of BIM Level 2\/ISO 19650 processes across multidisciplinary projects.<\/li>\n<li>Create, manage and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs), and model coordination schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with designers, engineers and clients to ensure that 3D models and data-rich environments are integrated and aligned with project requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Produce, manage, and federate 3D models, ensuring data integrity, clash detection, and coordination across all disciplines using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and BIM 360\/ACC.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate model reviews and issue tracking using Common Data Environments (CDE) in line with project and client standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with industry and client BIM standards and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal BIM protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with document controllers and project managers to ensure that digital outputs align with project documentation and version control.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in digital data handover and asset information delivery for use in operation and maintenance phases.<\/li>\n<li>Promote innovation in digital construction techniques, including automation, 4D\/5D modelling and digital twin strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and promote safe working in a digital environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"jobad-qualifications\"><strong>What do we need from you<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in BIM coordination or digital engineering within the infrastructure, utilities, or energy sector \u2014 experience in the UK Power Sector is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in relevant BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 \/ ACC.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of UK BIM Framework, ISO 19650 series, and industry best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of multi-disciplinary project coordination and digital design delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with electricity transmission assets and environments (e.g., National Grid projects, substations, OHL) is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams with clients and contractors.<\/li>\n<li>High level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Customer-centric approach to delivering high-quality outputs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HNC \/ HND \/ Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>BIM-related certification (e.g., BRE, BSI, or Autodesk) is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Must already have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to secure this prior to commencement of the role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a BIM Engineer \/ Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering and infrastructure projects at the forefront of the UK\u2019s drive to modernise and decarbonise its&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"Egis Group","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[569,591],"job-types":[167],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-6278","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-energy","6":"job_listing_category-grid","7":"job_listing_type-permanent-job","8":"work-model-hybrid-work","10":"job-type-contract-of-employment"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
