{"id":6287,"date":"2026-01-02T00:30:59","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T07:22:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=6287"},"modified":"2026-02-18T08:32:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T07:32:04","slug":"egis-group-commercial-manager-york-wielka-brytania","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6287","title":{"rendered":"Commercial Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Commercial manager will require knowledge and experience in pre and post contract management and procurement within commercial contract management in the rail and infrastructure sector.<\/p>\n<p>You will be expected to utilise experience and knowledge of supplier relationships and contract management to drive efficiencies in the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Working as part of projects and programmes to deliver the strategic aims of their designated portfolios.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial manager shall be Educated to a degree standard in a related subject or Associate Member of a relevant professional institute with Chartered status.<\/p>\n<p>This role can be based in\u00a0<strong>Manchester, Leeds or York.\u00a0<\/strong>You can expect to be working on a hybrid basis with up to 3 days a week in the office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-contract support including budget forecasting and contracting strategy<\/li>\n<li>Post-contract commercial management<\/li>\n<li>Production of the baseline cost estimate for the project to form the project cost plan<\/li>\n<li>Cost Planning &amp; Estimating<\/li>\n<li>Period update on the project cost plan<\/li>\n<li>Project commercial management duties including assessment of contractor valuations, preparation\/submission of interim applications \/ Variations \/Delay or Claims<\/li>\n<li>To undertake risk reduction workshops with the project team including with the contractor<\/li>\n<li>To ensure records are maintained and saved on Autodesk<\/li>\n<li>Management &amp; evaluation of changes including structured change control process<\/li>\n<li>Cost reporting, and commercial forecasting including cash flow and third-party funding<\/li>\n<li>Be able to undertake take-offs for estimating and changes<\/li>\n<li>Management of project risk register with the project manager<\/li>\n<li>Project Final Accounting &amp; Settlements<\/li>\n<li>Contract (NEC &amp; JCT) and procurement advice to help support the Project manager<\/li>\n<li>Preparation &amp; analysis of BoQ\u2019s, proficient in the use of RMM<\/li>\n<li>Attendance at monthly board review meetings<\/li>\n<li>Attendance Contractor project progress and commercial evaluation meetings<\/li>\n<li>Supplier performance review and feedback to the procurement team<\/li>\n<li>Project progress reporting, preparation of project progress reports (including Keyedin, and Autodesk).<\/li>\n<li>To support the client\u2019s legal team with commercial evidence gathering<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with the client\u2019s finance team to provide periodic project commercial updates<\/li>\n<li>Provide commercial support to Project Managers<\/li>\n<li>To provide mentorship advice to the client\u2019s Assistant Commercial Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"jobad-qualifications\"><strong>What do we need from you<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Degree or Equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Chartered or pursuing Chartership \u2013 RICS<\/li>\n<li>To have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the construction sector in a similar role.
