{"id":6369,"date":"2025-08-04T00:31:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-21T06:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=6369"},"modified":"2025-08-04T08:32:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-04T06:32:17","slug":"saipem-civil-or-mechanical-qc-inspector-liverpool-united-kingdom","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6369","title":{"rendered":"Civil or Mechanical QC Inspector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saipem is a global leader in engineering services for the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructures and plants in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore.<\/p>\n<p>With our five business lines &#8211; Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics &amp; Industrialized Solutions &#8211; we are One Company present in around 60 countries with over 30,000 employees of more than 130 nationalities, providing the world the innovative excellence of our people and our partners for over 65 years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to follow demolition of previous plant underground<\/li>\n<li>Disinstallation\u00a0 of plants and segregation of materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all civil construction and erection works are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans\/ Inspection Test Plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment, steel structures and construction\/installation activities and HVAC on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records<\/li>\n<li>Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports<\/li>\n<li>Check the preparation of foundations<\/li>\n<li>Check the correct preparation of reinforcements<\/li>\n<li>Check the certifications regarding element mixes, LASTM test, chemical analysis, grain size analysis<\/li>\n<li>Monitor atmospheric conditions during pouring operations<\/li>\n<li>Monitor correct curing operations<\/li>\n<li>Check the sampling operations (when required)<\/li>\n<li>Review the laboratory examination results<\/li>\n<li>Check sub-grade dry density<\/li>\n<li>Check moisture content<\/li>\n<li>Check compression strength test<\/li>\n<li>Check after execution of casting<\/li>\n<li>Check after concrete pouring<\/li>\n<li>Check materials quality (wire, fitting, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications<\/li>\n<li>Check the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation<\/li>\n<li>Orderly collect and manage\/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier<\/li>\n<li>In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans\/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saipem is a global leader in engineering services for the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructures and plants in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore.
