We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Role<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the co-ordination of the Civil, Structural and Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and Life Safety\u202fwork packages.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Site Safety in conjunction with Mercury Safety Advisor, including set up, management of and closing out of file.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury Project Manager and team including set up, management and close out of file.<\/li>\n<li>Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer\/Architect to Mercury Engineering and Client requirements<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the adherence to schedule on the project through DABs meetings and on-site actions.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of package budgets. Drive good value through efficient performance and continuity of work for Supply chain.<\/li>\n<li>Management of costs associated with Project Logistics and maintenance of the project including:\n<ul>\n<li>Labour<\/li>\n<li>Material<\/li>\n<li>Plant and Equipment<\/li>\n<li>Variations<\/li>\n<li>Valuations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Control of all day-to-day site operations\u202fwithin schedule<\/li>\n<li>Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule. Ensure manpower levels are adequate.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Sub-Contractor meetings are being completed and recorded.\n<ul>\n<li>White Board<\/li>\n<li>DABS<\/li>\n<li>Weekly Progress\/Construction meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Quality, Environmental. Health and Safety<\/li>\n<li>Ensure site administrator has all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.<\/li>\n<li>Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Close out of project items including, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations \u2013 all with the Support of your Project team.<\/li>\n<li>Issue Daily Report on BIM 360 to the Project Manager<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Project Administrator issues weekly safety stats &amp; project labour projections.<\/li>\n<li>Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement company procedures with the project managers.<\/li>\n<li>Review drawings and setting out details.<\/li>\n<li>Produce builders works drawings for services.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out distribute &amp; close out snags ensuring Room Readiness.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties associated with this role and\/or reasonably required by the Company the Company reserves the right to vary the scope and nature of the Employee\u2019s normal duties to consider changes in the Company\u2019s work patterns and practices and the requirements of its business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria for the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering Degree or recognised trade qualification<\/li>\n<li>10+ years\u2019 experience of managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years experience of working with a General Contractor in the Construction of\u00a0Data Centers.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and interfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to efficiently manage a team by setting expectations, delegation, and review.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication &amp; computer skills,<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Close attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Good team-working skills<\/li>\n<li>Pride in the quality and presentation of work.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We build and manage complex engineering &amp; construction projects for the world\u2019s leading corporations.
