We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of the Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional \/ sectoral)<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP<\/li>\n<li>Reporting to Planning Department<\/li>\n<li>Reporting to Business Unit \/ Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction \/ construction \/ commissioning<\/li>\n<li>Developing and maintaining progress databases<\/li>\n<li>Milestone projections, delay \/ float path analysis<\/li>\n<li>Earned Value Management systems<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring schedule performance and productivity<\/li>\n<li>Auditing progress on site<\/li>\n<li>Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of tender schedules<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of histograms<\/li>\n<li>Leading planning meetings<\/li>\n<li>Supporting weekly workface planning systems<\/li>\n<li>Resource \/ cash loading of schedules<\/li>\n<li>Providing data for payment applications<\/li>\n<li>Completing contract review reports<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports<\/li>\n<li>Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions<\/li>\n<li>Recording delay and disruption<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes<\/li>\n<li>Training staff, if required<\/li>\n<li>Covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required<\/li>\n<li>Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met<\/li>\n<li>Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Champion company Safety implementation on site and at site Safety Leadership Teams Track PAS [progress against schedule] and report at weekly client update meetings<\/li>\n<li>Authorise the issuance of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders<\/li>\n<li>Approve contractor invoices for payment<\/li>\n<li>Represent the Company in business with customers, consultants, contractors, and other public and\/or private agencies and organisations<\/li>\n<li>Research and prepare various reports pertaining to contractual issues, operations, policies, procedures, and\/or other issues, as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Planning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors<\/li>\n<li>To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project profitability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Criteria for the Role<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A trade background or a third level qualification<\/li>\n<li>Project Management experience<\/li>\n<li>Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects<\/li>\n<li>Diploma\/ Degree Qualification<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive a large-scale project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We build and manage complex engineering &amp; construction projects for the world\u2019s leading corporations.
