Also responsible for the management of high-impact topics across all live projects and for providing technical support and guidance at a project technical leadership level with support of the lead engineer where required. Ensures the content and quality of umbilical engineering activities, including management and coordination of task-related improvements and level 3 \/ level 4 obeya.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"745\" \/>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"1945\">\n<li data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"1232\">At technical authority level, provide support to Post Award teams throughout the life cycle of the project. Including but not limited to supporting:\n<ul data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"1232\">\n<li data-start=\"921\" data-end=\"960\">Strategy setting at project kick-off.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1038\">Technical risk identification, reviews, communication to PMA and closure.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1067\">Non-conformance closure.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1108\">Design rule and project concessions.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1232\">Approval status for any umbilical engineering assessment within design rule limits and umbilical cross-section designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1365\">Management and close out of technical topics and work with other leads to ensure balance and support across the wider department.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1502\">Responsible for development and integration of new technologies, templates, calculations and tools to improve efficiency and quality.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1579\">On job training and mentorship of engineers at all levels within the PMA.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1689\">Working with the Pre-Award team to ensure a smooth handover of tender and FEED projects to contract award.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1814\">Drive company initiatives with the umbilical team in conjunction with other leads and the Post Award Engineering Manager.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1816\" data-end=\"1945\">Where appropriate and as directed, take actions to comply with the group expectations to meet the code of experts\u2019 requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1947\" data-end=\"1950\" \/>\n<p><strong>You are meant for this job if:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2002\"><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2753\">\n<li data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2114\">Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline \u2013 preferably Mechanical Engineering or Subsea Engineering.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2115\" data-end=\"2459\">Relevant experience of the offshore industry and in the detailed design of umbilical systems;
