Dornan are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer. This role will initially be based in our Cork Office with a view to working on rotation on one of our European Projects.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Dornan\u00a0are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, and the UK. Roles and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Preparing method statements and risk assessments with construction team for production activities<\/li>\n
  • Prepare reports and front-end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take offs and tender schedules<\/li>\n
  • Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analysing returned tenders<\/li>\n
  • Keeping up to date the delivery schedule to control deliveries<\/li>\n
  • Seeking to clarify queries with the Design team through request for information (RFI) system<\/li>\n
  • Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports<\/li>\n
  • Producing look ahead programs to assist production.<\/li>\n
  • Carrying out Quality Control through inspections and snagging<\/li>\n
  • Carrying out document control, recording and transmitting information<\/li>\n
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams across the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications Required:<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline<\/li>\n
    • Experience Required:<\/li>\n
    • At least two years’ experience in a similar role with an electrical contractor<\/li>\n
    • Pharma or Industrial experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
