Our environment and social business provides essential services and innovative solutions which anticipate our clients&#8217; needs across all sectors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview of the role<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Working on complex projects the role will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working collaboratively with engineering colleagues and clients to pre-empt risk, inform design (including nature inclusive design) and mitigate by avoidance<\/li>\n<li>Working on feasibility and optioneering stages informing preliminary design, statutory consent, and construction stage projects in the energy, water and transport sectors both onshore and in the maritime area<\/li>\n<li>Client facing and client management<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<li>Interface management across multi-disciplinary teams<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and mentoring colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Incorporating lessons learned to continuously improve service offerings and delivery<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate \/ prepare high quality optioneering reports, environmental assessment reports (including Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Environmental Reports) and statutory particulars<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree level or equivalent education in a related field<\/li>\n<li>At least five years-experience in a co-ordinator role for the delivery of planning and environmental services in Ireland<\/li>\n<li>Excellent reporting ability with examples available<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Planning and Environmental law in Ireland<\/li>\n<li>Experience in delivering long-linear projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience in offshore renewable energy projects preferred but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong data and document management skills<\/li>\n<li>A broad understanding of planning and environmental risks and the initiative to identify those risks and develop solutions<\/li>\n<li>A collaborative and supportive approach to working with colleagues and clients<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to technical excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the division\u00a0 Environmental and social considerations are central to Mott MacDonald\u2019s Purpose and its offerings across all sectors and territories.
