You will oversee the progress of Offshore Wind and HVDC interconnector projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, time, functionality, and cost requirements. Coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers is key to smooth project execution. You identify and mitigate risks, maintain a change log for scope changes, and chair technical and progress meetings to ensure alignment. Additionally, you will support the implementation of new ideas and innovations, staying updated with relevant regulations to ensure compliance and promote proactive project management.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hybrid role, office location Manchester.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How You\u2019ll Make an Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driving the project and work packages to meet the defined requirements (e.g., safety, quality, time, functionality &amp; cost).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the procurement and management of consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers from design, through delivery and handover.<\/li>\n<li>Identification, monitoring and mitigation of risks and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Fulling the role of Contract Administrator (NEC3\/4 \/ FIDIC \/ Custom contracts).<\/li>\n<li>Define, draft and manage the subcontract documentation in coordination with other functions and project collaborators, including scope, specification, drawings, programme, resources, design work, interfaces, constraints, document management, reporting, H&amp;S, quality requirements, and &#8216;as builts&#8217;.<\/li>\n<li>Chair technical and progress meetings with subcontractors and internal collaborators.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the civil design manager\/coordinators to ensure the flow of design documentation is consistent with the programme and in line with the design review process within the engineering function and contract requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the scope and record any changes in a change log highlighting the potential impact to programme and budget and implement mitigation measures.<\/li>\n<li>Actively support the implementation of new ideas and innovations e.g., advancements in construction technology and materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience within the Civil Engineering, Construction, or Infrastructure sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Construction Methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communicator who can communicate complex technical and commercial issues.<\/li>\n<li>Bold and willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and on-site.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant with Health and Safety, Environmental and Planning regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Good standard of IT literacy \u2013 especially MS Office 365 solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Qualification in either Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally chartered with either the ICE, CIOB, RICS, CICES or working towards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> Who is Siemen\u2019s Energy? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
