Encouraging open communication, recognising and rewarding safe behaviour, and conducting regular inspections further reinforce the importance of safety. By taking these steps, you can help create a culture where safety is a shared value and a top priority for all stakeholders involved in the project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to the Senior QS, the key responsibilities of the role will include:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overseeing the administration and change order process associated with the CSA packages<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all changes are captured and costings appropriately assessed and validated prior to issuing to the Design Team and Client<\/li>\n<li>Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team\u00a0and\/or the client<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in establishing a client&#8217;s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies<\/li>\n<li>Performing risk, value management and cost control<\/li>\n<li>Advising on procurement strategy<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and analysing costings for tenders<\/li>\n<li>Allocating work to subcontractors<\/li>\n<li>Providing advice on contractual claims<\/li>\n<li>Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports<\/li>\n<li>Valuing completed work and arranging payments<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The key individual will be articulate with good numeracy and time management skills.
