Are you an experienced Electrical Construction Manager<\/strong> looking to take the next step in your career? Winthrop Technologies<\/strong>, a leading data centre delivery partner headquartered in Dublin, is expanding its team. We are currently delivering multiple turnkey data centre projects<\/strong> across seven European countries<\/strong>, totalling over 430 MW<\/strong> of IT load in flight.<\/p>\n

We are now hiring a dedicated Electrical Construction Manager<\/strong> to support the successful delivery of these high-value, fast-paced projects.<\/p>\n

\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Overseeing site Quality Assurance<\/strong> in collaboration with the QA Manager.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Managing the Project Schedule<\/strong> alongside the wider project team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Preparing detailed two-week lookaheads<\/strong> for upcoming electrical works.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensuring adequate labour is maintained in line with project programme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Upholding high standards of work quality<\/strong> throughout all phases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Monitoring and reporting subcontractor progress<\/strong> vs. schedule and manpower plans.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Notifying Project Management of all variations and delays<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Verifying all onsite materials and plant<\/strong> meet agreed specifications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensuring materials are safely stored and coordinated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Supporting project handover and close-out<\/strong> including O&M Manuals, Punch Lists, Safety File, and QA documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Enforcing health and safety compliance<\/strong> on-site.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Driving continuous improvement in site safety practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Keeping the site clean and well-maintained by all subcontractors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Completing weekly \u2018Don\u2019t Walk By<\/strong>\u2019 safety cards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Implementing internal procedures with package managers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensuring change management<\/strong> processes (cost and schedule) are correctly followed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      A recognised Electrical Qualification<\/strong> is essential (e.g. City & Guilds, HNC\/BTEC, NVQ).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Minimum 5+ years of experience<\/strong> in a similar role within mechanical and electrical contracting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Data centre construction experience<\/strong> is highly desirable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong organisational, communication<\/strong>, and time management skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
