Our focus is on delivering highly specialized multidisciplinary design services for the energy, high-hazard, and life science industries. The Sofia team aims to be a trusted partner across regions and units within the Mott MacDonald landscape, fostering long-lasting client relationships through innovation and professional expertise. Given our increasing workload and exciting prospects, we are actively seeking a Project Architect to join our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As you report to the lead architect, your involvement in project-related tasks will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing architectural designs within a BIM environment<\/li>\n<li>Producing detailed design drawings and documentation for tendering and construction purposes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating with disciplines to ensure a unified design approach<\/li>\n<li>Preparing comprehensive building description reports<\/li>\n<li>Creating visual representations of architectural designs<\/li>\n<li>Developing immersive, interactive virtual tours to experience the architectural solutions<\/li>\n<li>Crafting compelling presentations to effectively communicate architectural concepts and designs<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in the development of project technical specifications and model-based quantity take-offs<\/li>\n<li>Providing regular updates to the lead architect on the progress of deliverables across all project stages<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on work progress to the lead architect to ensure deadlines are met within the allocated man-hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Experience: Experience with industrial and\/or commercial projects is desired. International experience will be highly valued.<\/li>\n<li>Specialized Experience: Having worked on Pharmaceutical and Nuclear projects would be advantageous, but not essential.<\/li>\n<li>Revit and BIM Proficiency: Proficiency in using Revit and utilisation of BIM technologies in all project stages is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Architectural Practice Skills: Possession of well-rounded general architectural practice skills is expected.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of CDE and ISO 19650: A good understanding of the concept of Common Data Environment (CDE) as implemented in Autodesk Construction Cloud, and information management principles based on ISO 19650 is required.<\/li>\n<li>Construction Knowledge: A first-rate understanding of construction techniques and current Building Regulations is necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork and Communication: An amiable approach to teamwork and effective communication skills are important.<\/li>\n<li>Work Ethic: A thorough and organized working method is expected.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-Solving and Professionalism: A problem-solving mindset and a professional attitude are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Graphic Design, Presentation, and Architectural Visualisation Skills: Strong skills in graphic design, presentation, and architectural visualisation, including VR, are also an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Professional Development: A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of architecture<\/li>\n<li>Interest in Automation and AI: An interest in implementing automation in the design process, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is highly valued.<\/li>\n<li>Language Proficiency: Working proficiency in English is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are actively recruiting a diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities we serve.
