You will join our Dams and Reservoirs team, contributing to the delivery of high-profile projects across the UK and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary design teams, engage directly with clients and contractors, and shape the future of water infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading the detailed design of complex civil engineering works, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards, harnessing our existing expertise in geotechnical engineering, hydraulic structures, risk assessment and collaborating with our specialists in hydrology, hydropower, water transfers, environment, planning and beyond<\/li>\n<li>Delivering robust and buildable solutions considering practical constraints and opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Collaborating closely with contractors to develop buildable, cost-effective solutions within design and build frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Managing project deliverables, timelines, and quality assurance processes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing feasibility studies, calculations, specifications, drawings, and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Supporting site supervision and construction phases, resolving technical challenges as they arise<\/li>\n<li>Representing Mott MacDonald in client and stakeholder meetings, building strong relationships to support business growth<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical development across the team<\/li>\n<li>Promoting a strong health and safety culture and driving continuous improvement in project delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This role presents a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical and leadership skills, with excellent prospects for career progression as our business continues to grow.
