This will be supplemented with supporting in project leadership and delivery to help build key relationships with our customers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the principal account leader in delivering the wider BD strategy for hydropower and pumped storage<\/li>\n<li>Revenue growth and managing cost of sales for a defined programme<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and implementation of market plans, customer management plans and prospect capture plans<\/li>\n<li>Input into our wind and\/or solar energy sub-sector strategies<\/li>\n<li>Influencing customer focused project delivery<\/li>\n<li>Working with the hydropower resource manager to define project resource \/ skill needs<\/li>\n<li>Customer based project work with increasing focus on portfolio delivery<\/li>\n<li>Supporting delivery of the hydropower and pumped storage business plan actions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, civil, industrial engineering) or similar qualification<\/li>\n<li>International hydropower and pumped storage industry experience, delivering large projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working at a senior level in an energy consultancy or in a relevant industry<\/li>\n<li>A track record of developing value proposition including budgeting for winning technical and commercial proposals for major opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence decision making at a senior level including effective collaboration between various departments\/units<\/li>\n<li>Commercial experience of project delivery from implementing consultancy services<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and client facing skills with a strong customer focused approach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have an exciting opportunity for an account leader to support the business development activities in our hydropower team. &nbsp;
