The department plays a critical role in enabling the scalability and reliability of wind energy services across the region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Specialist for Service Solutions, you will be expected to lead and shape the service procurement landscape for wind energy projects, with a strong focus on crane services, installation logistics, and long-term service agreements. Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vendor Management: Establish and manage strategic partnerships with key service providers. Drive supplier development initiatives and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives, including innovation, sustainability, and performance excellence<\/li>\n<li>Procurement Strategy: Design and execute category strategies for service, crane, and installation procurement. Ensure alignment with project timelines, technical requirements, and cost-out targets. Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and contribute to global category strategies<\/li>\n<li>Contract Negotiation: Lead complex, high-value contract negotiations, including multi-year framework agreements. Ensure robust commercial terms, risk mitigation clauses, and enforceable SLAs. Collaborate with legal and technical teams to ensure compliance and enforceability<\/li>\n<li>Supplier Performance Evaluation: Implement structured supplier performance management systems. Monitor KPIs, conduct quarterly business reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure service reliability and operational efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Budget Management: Own and manage procurement budgets for assigned categories. Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and supplier consolidation<\/li>\n<li>Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, contractual obligations, and operational disruptions<\/li>\n<li>Process Optimization: Drive procurement process excellence through digital tools, automation, and lean methodologies. Lead initiatives to improve sourcing cycle times, contract lifecycle management, and stakeholder satisfaction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Education: University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, MSc in Renewable Energy) is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in procurement within the wind energy sector, with a strong focus on Service Procurement, Crane Services, and Installation Logistics<\/li>\n<li>Track record in managing complex supplier ecosystems, negotiating high-value contracts, and delivering measurable cost and performance improvements<\/li>\n<li>Cross border procurement and working in matrix organisations<\/li>\n<li>Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of wind turbine technologies, O&amp;M strategies, installation methodologies, and the European service provider landscape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Strategic Procurement Expertise: Advanced skills in category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management<\/li>\n<li>Technical &amp; Commercial knowledge: Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into commercial requirements. Strong understanding of crane operations, installation logistics, and service delivery models<\/li>\n<li>Analytical &amp; Financial Skills: Proficient in cost modeling, TCO analysis, and supplier performance analytics. Ability to derive insights from data to support decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and align with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, legal, and finance<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving &amp; Agility: Resilient and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and adapt to changing project demands<\/li>\n<li>Regulatory &amp; ESG Awareness: Solid understanding of environmental, health &amp; safety, and sustainability standards relevant to wind energy services<\/li>\n<li>Language requirements: Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
