As a Field Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of the various TechnipFMC wellhead related equipment. You will work onshore and offshore, but also at our base in Nieuw-Amsterdam\/Veenoord when support is required in our workshop.<\/p>\n

\n

Duties and responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Work independently or in a team on installing (new) products, conduct repairs and maintenance of equipment.<\/li>\n
  • Make decisions to determine action that is consistent with policies & general procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Assure all equipment, service tooling & spare parts are on location, ready to use and fit for function prior the start of each job.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure assembly will work and assist with the review of product running procedures.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure that field service reports are filled in with all required information.<\/li>\n
  • Provide \u201cProject Support\u201d for (new) projects which includes attending design reviews for equipment & tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests, and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel.<\/li>\n
  • Communicate on a high level with Company Representative regarding, among others, job procedures, spare parts requirements, critical dimension measurements, and safety.<\/li>\n
  • Provide \u201cSales Support\u201d by keeping the customer fully informed on all aspects of the job and handling customer complaints in a professional manner.<\/li>\n
  • Understand and follow all TechnipFMC and customer safety requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Proactively pursue safe work practices and participate in safety training.<\/li>\n
  • Report to the Service (Project) Manager daily and inform the Service (Project) Manager in case business-critical decisions must be made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You are meant for this job if:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Technical education (MBO level) or equivalent through experience<\/li>\n
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365<\/li>\n
    • Strong technical understanding and hands-on mechanical work experience<\/li>\n
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow relevant procedures<\/li>\n
    • Calm under pressure, with a proactive, systematic, and innovative problem-solving approach<\/li>\n
    • Responsible, reliable, and committed to quality and HSE standards<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and listening skills<\/li>\n
    • Able to express ideas clearly and concisely<\/li>\n
    • Capable of handling challenging questions and facilitating problem resolution<\/li>\n
    • Skilled in persuasion and influence<\/li>\n
    • Strong command of English; sufficient German language skills<\/li>\n
    • Flexible regarding working hours, locations, and travel<\/li>\n
    • Willing and able to travel abroad for work and training<\/li>\n
    • Be available to support workshop activities when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
