You work in a 12-hour rotation and report to the Chief Engineer to maintain and optimize the technical systems on board.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"534\">YOUR IMPACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a 3rd Engineer, you are responsible for preparing, planning, and executing specific maintenance projects. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"1219\">\n<li data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"791\">Maintaining, optimizing, and improving the engine room and technical systems in close collaboration with the Chief Engineer<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"897\">Carrying out regular maintenance and repairs on technical installations to ensure optimal performance<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"976\">Instructing, organizing, supervising, and motivating assigned crew members<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1058\">Contributing to a positive working atmosphere and the development of the crew<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1132\">Maintaining ship administration in accordance with Van Oord standards<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1219\">Preparing, planning, and executing specific maintenance projects as a Day Engineer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1234\">ABOUT YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have a background in the maritime sector and are independent, stress-resistant, and flexible. Additionally, you have a good command of the English language and possess the necessary documents to work within the EU.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1857\">\n<li data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1552\">You hold a qualification as MarOff or Marine Engineer at MBO or HBO level<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1553\" data-end=\"1701\">You have at least three years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on vessels with DP (Dynamic Positioning) or heavy lift and installation operations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1783\">You have specific knowledge and experience with offshore installation vessels<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"1857\">You hold a DP Maintenance Certificate and the required STCW documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"1875\">WE OFFER YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Van Oord offers you a challenging and international work environment where you can make an impact for future generations.
