You will be working on international projects with a 5-weeks-on and 5-weeks-off sailing schedule. The offshore fleet consists of subsea rock installation vessels, cable-laying vessels, and wind-installation jack-up vessels. In this role, you will independently lead offshore projects and collaborate with project management, client representatives, and your team.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"509\">YOUR IMPACT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Chief Officer, you will take on several key responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel and successful project completion. Your main tasks will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"1204\">\n<li data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"794\">Leading navigation duties and ensuring all nautical operations are carried out safely and responsibly<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"917\">Maintaining onboard environmental regulations and overseeing safety equipment compliance, such as ISM &amp; ISPS standards<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1036\">Consulting daily with the Captain, project management, and client representatives to optimize production processes<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1131\">Training and coaching 2nd and 3rd Mates, as well as trainees on board, in a motivating way<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1204\">Handling the ship&#8217;s administration according to Van Oord&#8217;s standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role is crucial in ensuring high safety standards and efficient project execution.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1315\">YOUR WORKPLACE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Van Oord offers a dynamic, international working environment with impactful offshore projects worldwide. You are used to working independently and thrive in an international environment.
