In This Role You Will<\/strong><\/p>\n

JERA Nex bp<\/strong> is looking for an O&M WTG Asset Management Engineer<\/strong> to reinforce our team located in Ostend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this position, you will ensure optimal operations of the Northwester 2<\/strong> windfarm, located in the Belgian North Sea, where you will occasionally go offshore to follow up on works. Your main focus will be on Northwester 2, but you will also assist colleagues managing other windfarms and\/or campaigns when required.<\/p>\n

For O&M operations on Northwester 2, you will rely on a long-term contract with a service provider and cooperate with colleagues in the WTG and other O&M teams. Additionally, you will oversee specific campaigns such as yearly maintenance and blade campaigns.<\/p>\n

\n

Your Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Manage the interface with the long-term service provider from both a technical and contractual point of view, including:\n
      \n
    • Following up on daily activities both onshore and offshore, with occasional offshore visits.<\/li>\n
    • Liaising between the service provider, other O&M teams, and external parties.<\/li>\n
    • Leading monthly meetings and monitoring contractual KPIs.<\/li>\n
    • Challenging the contractor with substantiated technical analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Supervise turbine and maintenance data in relation to KPIs and technical challenges.<\/li>\n
    • Identify opportunities for improved performance, maintenance, and yield.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) for various stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Investigate new turbine maintenance strategies.<\/li>\n
    • Manage and improve data analytics tools to optimize operations and increase technical insight.<\/li>\n
    • Follow up on offshore works and SCADA-related issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n

      Work Location: Oostende<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • The entire team managing O&M WTG operations for Belgian sites is based in Oostende<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • While homeworking is supported, a minimum of three days per week in the office<\/strong> is expected to ensure optimal team collaboration.<\/li>\n
      • Offshore work may arise on short notice, so flexibility and readiness to act swiftly<\/strong> are essential.<\/li>\n
      • Assistance on the maintenance of a GE turbine<\/strong> can only be carried out from the Oostende office.<\/li>\n
      • Frequent face-to-face interaction<\/strong> with the main contractor (located nearby) is an important part of the role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
