SaaS Engineer Trainee<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a SaaS Engineer Trainee<\/strong>, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our services while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining our SynaptiQ platform<\/strong> and providing first-level support to our clients, as well as assisting with onboarding and with the development of new features.<\/p>\n

Your Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Client Support and Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Handle first-level support tickets from clients, providing efficient solutions to technical issues and escalating more complex problems to the Senior SaaS Engineer team when necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist the service delivery team with the deployment of assets into the SynaptiQ platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Understand clients’ needs and translate these into appropriate technical solutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist with the helpdesk and ticketing system, perform offsite analysis, and provide guidance in the installation of equipment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Platform Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Provide input and ideas for the development and maintenance of the SynaptiQ platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Implement the appropriate configuration of newly developed features under the supervision of Senior SaaS Engineers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Adhere to quality standards to ensure the software meets both technical and customer needs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Testing and Debugging<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Carry out testing of new features and updates, identifying bugs and ensuring the platform’s stable operation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Provide detailed reports on bugs and assist in their resolution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Process Improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • \n

          Propose creative solutions to improve or automate internal tools and processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Implement solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Keep abreast of the latest developments in SaaS technologies and platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

            To successfully fill this role, we are looking for someone fitting the following profile:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • \n

              You are enrolled in an Engineering degree (in renewable energy, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field) or have recently completed one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              You have full proficiency in English.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              You possess strong analytical skills to analyse data flows (i.e. through FTP, API or SQL data collectors, UI dashboards, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              You have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a customer-oriented mindset.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              You have a curious mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and tooling.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              You are interested in SaaS products and ready to dive deep into the field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Bonus points for:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              • \n

                Knowledge of French and\/or Dutch.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Familiarity with object-based programming languages (JavaScript, Python, VBA).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Knowledge of databases and operating systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Experience with MySQL or other relational database management systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                Reporting skills (e.g., FlexiReport, PowerBI).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
