and coordinate design submissions will provide succinct solutions to the client\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>An ambitious and outgoing design manager with a\u00a0 demonstrated history working within the construction industry on major projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"24\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"27\" data-end=\"2136\">\n<li data-start=\"27\" data-end=\"123\">Coordinate with the client\u2019s design team for project build and site-wide design and services<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"124\" data-end=\"272\">Coordinate Winthrop design teams and external design consultants, ensuring design development stays on schedule to support construction progress<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"412\">Plan and lead design &amp; engineering workshops with in-house and external discipline engineers to resolve issues ahead of site activities<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"573\">Manage the Technical Submittal (TS) process, ensuring specifications are adhered to and submissions allow sufficient time for review, comment, and follow-up<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"719\">Manage the design query process, raise issues in weekly workshops, and follow up with RFIs; escalate changes to change management as required<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"857\">Manage IFC releases and updates, ensuring coordination with the design team and Winthrop engineers; escalate design changes as needed<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1003\">Lead weekly Design\/Engineering meetings with internal and external teams to review engineering progress and expedite or escalate urgent items<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1126\">Maintain a design risk register, keeping Winthrop senior management and the client informed of potential program risks<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1240\">Manage the design and submittal process for the FFE package in the admin buildings to ensure on-time delivery<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1339\">Report design &amp; engineering progress in weekly client meetings, highlighting concerns or risks<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1450\">Coordinate contractor construction drawings and models, ensuring timely approval for construction progress<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1578\">Manage contractors\u2019 as-built drawings and models, ensuring timely submissions per project requirements and planned handover<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1688\">Ensure contractors submit all required documentation, including O&amp;M manuals, to approved client platforms<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1689\" data-end=\"1832\">Manage and coordinate LEED requirements, liaising with client design teams and external LEED consultants; generate monthly progress reports<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1993\">Ensure project quality plans are submitted and QA procedures implemented; liaise on temporary works, traffic management designs, and design risk assessments<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1994\" data-end=\"2136\">Coordinate OFCI vendors appointed by the client, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with specifications, and resolution of discrepancies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2138\" data-end=\"2141\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2143\" data-end=\"2159\">REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2486\">\n<li data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2288\">5+ years\u2019 experience delivering large-scale projects, including office fit-outs, retail, hotels, schools, and data centres<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2339\">Data centre project experience is advantageous<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2340\" data-end=\"2414\">Degree-level education in a relevant construction discipline preferred<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2415\" data-end=\"2486\">Excellent organisational, communication, and time management
