As<strong>\u00a0Service &amp; Support Engineer,\u00a0<\/strong>you\u2019ll join the Global 2nd line Service Team in DEIF, consisting of 9 colleagues. You\u2019ll serve as the primary technical expert, providing top-tier support to customers, partners, and internal teams. Your role will include consulting customers and partners in pre- and after-sales activities in complex cases, driving service improvements, and ensuring close collaboration between Service, Sales and R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex technical issues while mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues and other stakeholders\u201d,<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>says\u00a0Palle Lind Nielsen, Department Manager.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s not just an exciting job \u2013 it\u2019s also incredibly versatile. One day, you might be helping a marine customer troubleshoot a complex power management setup on a vessel, and the next, advising a partner on how to integrate our controllers into a hybrid energy system.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main responsibilities and tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer cases<\/li>\n<li>Build structures (tools and ways of working) and foster global cooperation between global teams<\/li>\n<li>Manage big troubleshooting issues and drive product quality issues through R&amp;D and suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Provide feedback to Product Management and\u00a0R&amp;D to improve product quality<\/li>\n<li>Manage the development of new products from a service perspective and anchor the knowledge in all our subsidiaries<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Sales and engage in both pre- and after-sales activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The working place is based in Skive, Denmark. Danish language skills are an advantage but not required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in\u00a0<strong>Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Automation Technology<\/strong>\u00a0or similar<\/li>\n<li>Some experience as a\u00a0<strong>Service Engineer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Application Engineer<\/strong>, or in a related role<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with\u00a0<strong>Power Management<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>protection devices<\/strong>\u00a0is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Good\u00a0<strong>English<\/strong>\u00a0skills in speaking and writing<\/li>\n<li>Strong interest in using various digital tools<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with\u00a0<strong>PLC programming<\/strong>, ideally with\u00a0<strong>CODESYS (IEC 61131-3, ST)\u00a0<\/strong>is as plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a person, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges.
