These converters are pivotal in applications such as marine industries, grid integration, energy storage and hybrid energy systems \u2013 all to support the phase-out of fossil fuels.<\/p>\n<p>As<strong>\u00a0Systems Engineer \u2013 Power Converter<\/strong>, you\u2019ll play a crucial role in design, development, and optimisation of power converts and related systems in close collaboration with specialist and developers in DEIF. Together, you\u2019ll ensure the successful implementation of cutting-edge power solutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re looking for someone who want to make real impact \u2013 someone who understands both the technical depth and the bigger picture. In this role, you\u2019ll be the crucial link between Technical Product Management and R&amp;D, helping us turn ideas into innovative solutions.\u201d<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>explains Senior Vice President, Jan Harding Gliemann<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement advanced power conversion systems from specifications to product release.<\/li>\n<li>Break down requirements and features into functions subfunctions and interface definitions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical documentation, including risk assessments, DFMEA, design specifications, test reports, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and handle technical and performance risks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for power systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and troubleshoot power conversion issues and provide effective solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated with the latest advancements in power conversion technologies and implement best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To attract the right candidate, we offer flexible work arrangements. You can choose to work from one of our offices in Denmark or from our R&amp;D hub in Austria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your profile<\/strong><br \/>\nAs a person, you thrive on technical challenges and enjoy making things happen \u2013 not just independently, but through close collaboration with others. You\u2019re curious and motivated by solving complex problems that require both deep technical insight and cross-functional teamwork.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, you bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience within design and working with power converters and power electronics.<\/li>\n<li>Preferable experience as systems engineer or in a similar cross-functional technical role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to complex challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling you to work effectively across teams.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile development and systems engineering tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, SysML)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect from Us<\/strong><br \/>\nAt DEIF A\/S, you\u2019ll be part of a highly professional and supportive work environment.
